I just got my wisdom teeth out and they hurt. what did any of you guys do to keep the swelling down and numb the pain.

i got my yanked it was a throabing pain and anything ice cold made them hurt really really really bad other then that pain killers will be your best friend for a couple days

i had all 4 removed (not pulled.. they hadnt come through yet, they cut the gums, cut the teeth i half, and ripped out the pieces

) head swelled up like a balloon for a week.. and had to eat pudding and dope up on pain killers.. not the funnest week of my life... but hey... dont have to go through it ever again!

yeah they cut mine out too and i got to keep them and they are all whole not. and i still cant remember how i got home

yeah, my wisdom teeth experience was not a good one either. i went to my dentist to have them pulled... and we he started, i felt the most excrutiating pain in my life! i screamed right in his face. then he had the nerve to tell me that i wasn't feeling any pain.. that it was only pressure... and that the pain was just in my head. excuse me?!?! give me those things and let me pull one of your f'n teeth out buddy. needless to say.. he sent me to an oral surgeon.. who stuck an IV in my arm and put me to sleep... then proceeded to cut all 4 of my wisdom teeth out and trimed down my jaw bone. i woke up.. went home.. swelled up for about a week... ate lots of jello and yougart.. and ate lots of pain pills! all better after like two weeks! i'm so glad that's over!

lol!! yeah my ride home was a trip fo sho! i was sooo stoned!! hahaa... there was a big gorilla balloon thing on top of a business of some sort.. and as we drove by i was suposedly talking to it hahaha according to my sister i was pretty messed up from the drugs

well.. i couldnt close my jaw because of the swelling... so i couldnt talk right... and moving the jaw too much hurt too... so yeah.. its not the best experience ever.. but its not as bad as some people say it is

got 4 pulled few days ago, hurt a fair but i havent taken pain killers yet becuase i went to a bux night, the night b4 i went into hospital , drank for 12 hours that day so the doctor said i had to wait for the alchol to clear from my blood b4 i can take pills. i have bruzies on my chest from where the dentist had to neal on me and yank at my teeth to get them out. i look like a footy player
