![]() but maybe you could jump off the pegs harder and look back or tank dont look to landing that might help. try to get your butt up. And i think that when i do harts i get the biggest when my grab hand is straight but my hand that is on the bars is a bit bend. Hopefully this helps |

instead of kicking your legs out, stay curled alil longer and let your body rotate. weve all had trouble getting hart attack style but once you figure out the movement you wont be able to do a crappy one. practice and gettting torso in the right position will make your legs go up. no need to jump off the pegs cause if you miss the grab it sucks. watch a video of someone doing them and see the movements.

Kasmo is right about jumping off the pegs more, or what some people call "popping" more off the pegs.
Dis also has a good point about rotating your torso more, and that is something else that you can work on to make your grabs bigger. Something to keep in mind while working on that is to keep your shoulders low and forward while you make your grab. It will help keep your upper body low which helps as you try to get your legs up. That is the beginning motion of a Hart Attack. I really think it may be a little simpler then all of that though. You may just need to work on coming off the pegs quicker, getting your grab quicker and stronger, and allowing your legs to float behind you. All good things to consider. Good luck! |

Just try them a bunch. Pop off the pegs. I dont even do it very hard for just a superman seat grab(harder poping for higher legs like heart attack mentioned above) pull your knees in and then when it feels right kick them back all while reaching for the grab hole. Probably keep your legs pulled in a little longer. I do it all at the same time. Also make sure your not trying to push yourself up with the hand on the seat doesnt seam like the problem just letting you know. I had the same problem then it just clicked once took prob a day or two of riding youll get it soon tho.

If you don't have the correct angles on your jump, you'll prob never get it down. Make sure your jump is up to par.

Robert speaks from experience when he says not to jump off your pegs too hard. 10-12yrs ago I watched him miss a grab on an 85' dirt double I built. Bones sticking through the skin aren't pretty!

Any one got any super slow mo vids of a hart or good ssg, im nearly there. Or even like a step by step guide. i know it may sound silly but i have a tramp bike i practice on and learnt all my tricks on it first except ssg's because i dont grab first. i dont want to try it like that.
