Job Description
Video Shooter/ Editor

Alpinestars is looking for a Shooter/ Editor to add to our in-house production team. This person will be focused primarily on content related to our various motorsports lines, from production to post-production processes. They’ll be tasked with creating polished web content and TV commercials in support of our global markets. In order to be considered for this position, you must have a passion for, and understanding of, motorsports.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and creative person, with a deep knowledge of the motorsports world. He/She must be able to work on a team, while maintaining a desire to go above and beyond. High attention to detail and multi-tasking are a must, and the ability to work under tight deadlines is an absolute necessity. The fast paced environment here at Alpinestars requires someone to be able to work on projects by themselves while also helping with larger department-wide productions.

Job Description

• Producing content for web, TV & Live events
• Planning/Shooting footage with athletes/products
• Interviews and competition coverage
• Executing projects from concept through delivery
• Team based production/post-production

Requirements:

• High proficiency in: Final Cut Pro & Adobe After Effects, Soundtrack Pro, Adobe Encore
• Strong post-workflow knowledge (codecs & conversions)
• Knowledge of most common professional video cameras a must
• HDSLR shooting and photography a plus
• Strong lighting techniques and product photography
• Story construction and storytelling skills
• Interview skills
• Ability to travel throughout the US and internationally (20-30% travel)
• Knowledge of the Motorsports world
• Compression knowledge a plus
• Video standards & basic delivery knowledge a plus
• Motion Graphics (Cinema 4D) knowledge a Plus!
• Team Player
• Self Starter
• High attention to detail a must
