That vid is so good! The event was so freakin awesome, and that clip pretty much sums up the whole vibe of the contest. Gnarly awesome riding with a fun loving backwoods vibe and pretty much no ego from any of the dudes. Just dudes getting rad on dirtbikes.

My highlight was watching Alton Brown and DaviJ going back and forth all weekend. Both quiet nice kids who have stepped up their riding 10 fold over the past year or 2. Like from no handers and no footed cans to KOD's and Holyman's. After watching them practice for 2 days I honestly had no idea who was going to win it, the competition was that close. Davi took a well deserved win, but Alton was not far behind him at all scoring 1 point below Davi for the final. The competition was that close. Robbie King, Jon Dillahey, and Will Berry rounded out the Amateur class. Will Berry was riding injured after a crash in practice and Jon's bike was having bike problems but was still sending it in the gnarly wind.

Dan Weeks and Waker killed the pro demo in the gnarly wind, with waker even getting upside down

After the comp we got treated to the premiere of Blake Shipman's new film "FMX and the Life" and I gotta say one of the best vids I have seen in a very very long time. I have always been a fan of his work and like all of his movies but I have got to be honest, I enjoyed this movie more than any of his other films. Lots of rider interviews mixed perfectly with amazing riding. When the interview parts came on the whole place went quiet and everyone leaned in and was listening intently laughing at some parts, and a sense of connection you will feel if you have ever swung a leg over a bike. When the riding fired up it was hooting and hollering "yea!" "budass!" "Gnarly!" you could hear over the soundtrack of brappin and metal. Such a good film, I am spending my hard earned money on it as soon as it is released.

I could go on and on with stories from the whole weekend but I'll cut it short. Jeff Crim also took some amazing photos and Im sure they will be up within the week. Thanks everyone for the good times, till next year.

First off I want to thank Daniel Weeks and everybody who had part in helping out in the PiNN-iT bash. It is always an amazing event year after year and only gets better! I love comimg to the bash every year simply because of the outstanding environment that surrounds Dodd City with incredible people, good vibes, and lots of riding with buddys! Congrads to Davi J for taking home the big win! Also thank you to Bshipman for coming out and capturing some beyond awsome footage of everybody shreding the dirt

Thanks Alton for the kind words. The Bash was really good this year. The temp, audience, course, fans along with Blake and Levi rolling tape was spot on. It was really fun to watch literally every level of talent perform.......from the true beginner to Wacker flipin in the wind.
