Torrenteras is one of the top 5 best whippers on the planet, no doubt...I think since he's already there for speed and style, they should put him in best whip also....

And why does Hansen keep getting invited??? He never scores well, Pages, Cantrell, Beckering, Bamburg, and Torrenteras should absolutely be top priority invites for Best Whip.

My whole thing with Hansen is tho s-look at the "text votes" the year he was on the Hills, plowing the Pratt chick, all over TMZ, and going for the 3peat in SX. He was second from the last I think......***BS***, I remember all his celeb friend like Pratt, Brody Jenenr, Taylor, Monster Family were tweeting to vote. I found his numbers hard to believe....

From there, I have always questioned its "fan voting numbers"....

Wow, thats total bul.l****.....Hansen whips are certainly nice, but definitely not on par with the above-mentioned riders. if x games were fair, the fact that he was on the Hills or was dating the chick from the hills or whatever should HAVE NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER on his shot at Best Whip.

Best Whip is a demo at X Games, not a contest. They pick riders that have a fan base and want the fans to pick their favorite whip of the show; it does not mean that they have the biggest whip out there. I'm pretty sure the only reason Jarryd first got in was because he was recommended by Travis. Yes his whips are big, but he never would have been invited just for his whips. Now that he got in and showed he can entertain the crowd, he will be in for a long time.

The person I am most surprised about not getting in this year is Torronteras. He has great whips and really plays with the crowd. He is in Speed & Style so I am sure he was talked about and my guess is first alternate for Best Whip.

Ok so I've been quiet for long enough... I stopped coming here because all this site does anymore is complain who didn't get invited to a contest that has been a joke for over half a decade. Idk how many times I've heard this guy shouldn't be there and this guy should take his spot. I'm over it! Stop whining you all sound like a bunch of effing chicks. No one honestly cares the way this sport will die is if everybody keeps complaining about it. Do you all remember y you love this sport. It's because you ride dirt bikes for fun. In the words of the late Ox, "When this becomes a job it's no longer worth doing" everyone has gone way off on the roots of this, having fun riding, it's no longer fun here, it no longer shows that anyone here enjoys what they do they just want to cry that all these underrated guys aren't getting invited to some dumb *** contest that means nothing to anyone but a paycheck. Get over urselves our voices will never be heard. We don't make a corporation tons of money. The riders can't even get together to say that certain things like courses and conditions suck. They just ride for the paycheck. You know what's entertaining, loading up your bike with a couple good friends and burning laps at ur local track, or going out to the hills and trying to out do ur buddy. But no, all anyone of you guys want to do is hop on the Internet and complain that Destin isn't getting invited to xgames best whip. Stfu no matter how much you all complain it will not change a thing. So either get over it or kick rocks
