We (my roommate is coming, too) are leaving out of Reno, and most likely heading north through Oregon and into Washington, then east from there.
We will almost definitely be in or near Seattle. Would love to grab a beer or two. |

This thread brings back some memories!
I've gone from coming on here 2-3 times/day to once every couple months... I ride minibikes more than my 250 nowadays but it's cool because I enjoy taking my nieces/nephews riding more than hucking jumps. Just part of getting older I guess. I'm married, got a house, running a business, and on pace to retire at age 35 (I'm 29 now). Don't have a lot of retirement plans yet except riding a bicycle across Canada, but I'm sure we'll come up with some more great adventures! Back in the early 2000's I was 100% freestyle. But the last few years I've become a big racing fan and love following SX/MX. It's so intense! But I don't think I'll ever actually race, I still prefer messing around in a field and goofing off on jumps. I'm addicted to kijiji (the Canadian version of craigslist) I buy and sell bikes, make a few bucks on them, always have toys for my friends and I to play on, and when I sell them I get to see the excitement of someone getting their new bike - especially the kids - a feeling I remember so well! So I still have a lot to do with 2 wheels, but I'm thinking I may never hit the shingled Rev 1 again. Maybe time to sell it but the thought is kind of depressing - I wasn't supposed to get old and lame!!! |
