new tricks

heaps of people on this board have been talking about all these new tricks like a 360 no footed can, this is a question that is on every fmx message board so why shouldnt it be here.
a few new tricks i can think of, no footed nac pendulum, and a no hande sterilizer..... at first i didnt think that was possible but if u get a nice down ramp when u land the compression of the front fork should keep it u going straight.

u would need on helluva HUGE and steep landing to even think of going for a no handed sterilizer :D

Most stuff ive thought of are just new combos (most of which have probably been done by now...)

Like maybe a superman to sterilizer, if u could manage to keep the bike level..

another thing could be a no handed bar hop but not fully extended like carter and not how twitch does it either

basically he just spins around above his bike (360 degrees) and then tries to grab back on.

hes also tried his backflip off the back, and then grabbing the reear fender, but no luck as of yet :D

As far as a no handed catwalk goes there are at least 5 guys
already doing them,The first one to pull it in a contest was Travis

travis didnt do the no hand catwalk at 2000 X. He did 1 handed, and called them the wilma.

1st time i saw em was on Revalation 199 (travis of course) the aussie dayne kinnaird was the next to do them

has anyone tried a lazyboy, but with your feet on top of the bars. or like a heelclicker to lazyboy. i think if you could grab the back fender quick enough, that the bike wouldnt fall away. If it does, than theres always that bungy cord thing, its kinda cheating, but oh well, it should make people go bigger

But i know within the next year there will be a few guys doing

hopefully body varials as well

I personally am still a bit sceptical about these, i mean, can you picture a gyro setup on a mx bike? i cant... ive been looking at my bike the past few days trying to see how to set one up. I think i read in freerider or it mayhave been in adb, and adobauntea was sayin that he saw kannaird doin em at the world tour and said they looked so cool he had to learne em , so he went home and learnt em then came back to the burswood supercross and he was followin kainiard over the jumps and they were both doin em. Travis did do em first but when you see kannaird do em hes a step above every one at em, other kinda run down bellow the bike but he gets way up there and looks real scary. Another aussie, dan hall can also de em now. And me mate that went to the melbourn crusty said that hall did a couple there but wasnt to good at em. So that would make him the third person to do one. And adobtauntea would be the forth.

When i saw it on TV i was a little disapointed cause when i read about it i was expecting him to be way back but its more like a no handed superman. When rourke does the rock solid when he takes his hands off hes almost on the same position as homan on the holyman. Homan is still one of my ravorite riders but they just huyped the trick up a bit to much i think.

Actually Jono Porter has been doin KOD's since June long weekend. He learnt 'em at the Finke Desert Race FMX Demo, At that stage they were still coming out its just that we dont see him doing em till Aussie Mags or Vids come out cause there isnt a FMX website keeping us up to date with all the Aussie Boys!!!
So we only found out last month he was doing em unless you had seen him doing them live!!!!

I'll sit on my bike when its on the stand and picture the jump and move my body into position and when i hit it i'll do my trick in my head works better when you on your bike on the stand instead of inside the house thinking about it!;)

i find it helps to practice when youre standing still, because you dont have the momentum to help you move.... at least for me, its harder to do tricks standing still because there is no momentum.. so if i learn a trick standing still... its easier to do when im in the air

My friend has an old towing/utility quad that just sits in his backyard. We do the tricks standing still on that. It's not exactly the same as a bike, but once you get something easy on that quad, you have no problem doing it on the bike in the air!

We cut grab holes in it a few days ago.. lol. Seat grabs are TOUGH on that bad boy :)

I suppose doing it on a 4-wheeler would be less tippy and such. I have a 3-wheeler its a 1986 big red 200. I usually goof around on it like anni! But what i do now is practice fmx on a snowcat! It has a big comfy seat and all i have to do is push the throttle and throw some tricks today my buddy there a superman and told me that even if you fall it doesn't hurt that bad because of the seat so i warmed up by doing no-footers then semi-threw my feet out and landed and did it again and threw to where it was definatley a superman! its pretty cool because he got it on tape and we were just watching each other and seeing what and who did it better. I think he was better but he has been riding his snowcat for awhile! So anyways talk to ya lata!

i made a new trick today and i actualy pulled it off!!!
i was jumpin on a 50ft table doin bar hops and no footed cans and stuff and i thought to my self "ya know what would be cool..."
so i moved on to an 80ft double and started workin on whiped out no footed cans and then i joined the two tricks (no footed can, candybar) together to make a new trick
i would jump and whip the bike out and put my right leg over the bike like a no footed can and then i would shoot my left leg thourgh the bars like a candy bar. my freind said it was a awsome trick and he had never seen it before. i cant get very much extension cause i just starrted doing it but with time it will get better. and i am not going to name in until im for sure that no one else has done it:p
so if any of you have seen the trick before please tell me who did it and the name of it.

And i was grabbing my seat going 4 an ssg and i can do a full no footer and sorta shift my a$$ backwards just about my rear fender :D :D :D , its not wicked but it was gettin l8 and dark so im stoked :p
