AusFMX...this was inspired by ur post...lol

i know what people mean by how skool was the best days of ya life, with mates round and everything...i've been told by heaps of older people i know

this is what one dude said to me:

"Skool days were the best days of me life...the mates part of it, not the work...because at skool, u got up in the mornin, knowin ya mates will be skool, and u can hang round with em all day...which as, a year later, u get up...there's no-one round and nothin to do..."

34. Made it through a few months of getting a graduate degree and was over it. School was fun when I remember the fun stuff. When I think of papers and math finals that consisted of one equation which you had 2 hrs. to complete I am so thankful not only to not be there any more, but to know that I'll never have to go back.

hehehe.... school was cool. I never did any work there anyway, to busy concentrating on other things.... I still managed to finish with a 75% overall score. I was pretty happy with that considering....

Well yeah... but look at what you do for a living! If I could have a job like yours, I'd never want to go back to school, either. But I have a feeling I'm going to wanna go back after a few years of full time working

i think its gonna suck once i get outa school i meen i hate it but getting a job and doin the 9to5 no hollidays spring break summer vacation anymore thats gonna suck we got it easy at school barly any work only have to go from 8 to 3 get summer winter and spring vacations. then when it coimes time to get a job all that is gone. and we have to wake are butts up at 4 to leave at 5 for a job we are probly gonna hatre then get home at 5 and have to deal with bills and food then. so no mater how much you say school sucks now just wait till later unless your wife is rich and you get a job you like thats why im trying to get as good as possible grades so i can get a job i like.

dang! i didnt know i wrote that much... lol can you tell i was bored??

hey...everything you said about the "real world" is pretty true...until you find a job you like. i dont have kids or a wife though...so ill have to wait and see what thats like. but i loved high school and ive been out of it for four years...and im dealing with it fairly well...you meet a lot of cool people once yer life expands beyond high school....just remember what its like to have fun....and thats what its all about in the end.

hehe. Lets just say I am old enough to be everyone's dad, except alexfmx. She could be my wife but I don't think my present wife of 23 years would appreciate it if I brought her home. (I don't think alexfmx would appreciate my snoring and balding gray hair either) But... I could settle for calling her a daughter-in-law! LOL

I learn something new every day. Nothing replaces what we learn in the real world but there is great value in the first 10 or 12 years of school.
