Thought it was time for a new thread, does any1 have a good fmx set up, and have you got any pics.

yea i got a ok 1 man, but i need more dirt for more !!!!, i jus have 6 sets of doubles from 30ft to about 90ft ramp

Ring up the local pool shop, they have lots of dirt they will be happy to dump for free, saves them having to PAY to dump it somewhere else, and its good hard clay !!!! that dry's awesome coz they dig so deep.

we have just started reforming our jump park. right now we have one ramp hit, a step up, a whip hit, downhill, step up out of a canyon, and we are going to make a 8 pack.

Here is the place we ride. This is where Chucky hit that huge double double in Chapter One. (Mind you, he cleared it 1000 times before he ever wrecked on it, but clever editing makes for lots of drama and a great video). You can't see the ramp too well, so I will post that next, but there is a good 10 acres of good riding.

I took the pix of it on his website. He was still injured, and we were driving back from Supercross in San Diego. We decided to stop off at Mannys just to ride a little bit, he had no intention of hitting it actually. Once we got there, as usual, he said, "I feel good, I'm goin for it". Manny called a bunch of his buddies to tell them Chuck was goin for the 200ft jump, and pretty soon a bunch of cars showed up. So I am at the bottom of the hill with my camera poised, knowing that he might only hit it once, and I'd have one chance to get the shot. As if that + the insanity of the jump didn't make me nervous enough, there were a whole bunch of guys standing about 15 ft. behind me goin "dude, he is never gonna make it, this will be ugly, someone get ready to call 911". He took off, and nailed it. BAM. Hit it a few more times, I think like 4, and then we called it a day. The boy is nuts.

I can still hardly belevie he did it...everytime i watch revelation 199, its just soo amazing to see someone hit a jump that damn big :D

if you look in racer x a few issues ago (and im sure a bunch of other mags) SPLIT has an ad showing Colin Morrison hittin the 200footer too..I hear he hits it all the time...that's just what I hear tho heh... Chucks awesome tho!

McGrath had that 200 ft jump built for Chuck for Steel Roots 2, but Chuck got injured and couldn't jump it. It sat there forever and no one would even think of doing it. Finally like 4 months later is the day Chuck hit it, and then a month later Colin and the other guys. Ryan Cappes from Washington was the last person to hit it. I haven't seen him ride yet, but I hear he is good.

Colin morrison is the man. I heard he was pullin seat grabs of a 200 footer... And in an aus mag it says him , trigger, tyler evans and chuck are all goin for the record...seth wants to go 300 soon. And it also shows a 14 year old bmxer goin for a backflip on a 96 cr 125,,,,,, Can any one post the pic of collin doin that 200 footer. Plus colin , deegan and a few others are goin to be ridin at the planet X summer games at sydney,.

hey evry 1
ive just finnished building some jumps....
first of all it was a double about 40 foot or more,it looked huge
but thanx to shaolin 4 a little advise it is now like a cross between a double and a table top sorta thing(45 foot i think)
and ive got my ramp next to the dirt on a bit of an angle
so hopefully it turns out sick

Well at the moment i only have 2 jumps that can hit, iv got my ramp onto a big landing ramp and then another 60 foot double goin back the other way, i also have another big landing going the same way as the other ramp but the 2nd ramp hasnt got a surface on it yet so i can jump it. i used to have a 4 pack but after samo broke his leg he wanted it demolished, so i did cause it was gay anyway. i was the only one who ever jumped it usually.
