View Full Version : No footed cancans and candy bars.

Hey guys i pretty much masterd the no footed cancans and now im doing candy bars. or what ever the trick is where you put one foot over the handle bar. but on the candy bars i cant get my foot all the way over cus the heel of the boot gets cought on the handle bar. and when i do get my foot over the handle bar once ive only donw once. my foot get cought on the handle bar again the i land on my foot:( can any one help me on pulling the trick off?

once again, practice it on the bik stand. put all your gear on, and jsut keep doing it, it will help you stretch your leg muscles more, and it will get easier.
Oh and by the way, i wouldnt exactly call that masteing a double can :D nice effort on a tiny jump, but not mastered ;)

i dont think anyone can be the master of anytrick it can always get better and bigger and off a lil jump its easy thats what i thought when i was doin lil nothings to suicide landers of this 10ft doubnle then i hit it on a 40footer and it was alot harderbut i did it and hey when you gonna get a bigger bike? that lil xr looks like its about to snap sometime but nice can

for the candybars... u got pro taper bars? get handlebars without a crossbar.... then there is nothing to hook your foot on

If your on stock bars, either hacksaw the crossbar off, or buy some new ones.. Tags ( I hear.. but dont know much ) are supposedly good for tricks like that..

dont cut off the crossbar on stock bars.... they arent strong enough and the first time you crash they will bend all over hell... tag bars are really good... same with pro taper, they are made of special alloys and stuff so they are a lot stronger and dont need a crossbar for support

About getting the new bike my dad wants to get me into raceing alot and ive been going to the pratice races every thursday and ive been riding i wanna race it but my dad says no. and the new season its coming up in febuary and my birth day is febuary 18th so i hope i will get a CR and be able to race. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

well i suppose most of the ppl u race with ride two strokes, so tell ya dad if he wants you to keep up with them u'll need a CR ;)

i went to the practice last night. The first two rounds i did really bad and wrecked like 8 time falling in the big guys ruts and stuff:( but the last two rounds i got 2nd place and 3rd place it was awsome! and ive been riding/racing in the 60s clas cuz my bike wont keep up with the 80's. what i had troble with is the ruts can any one tell me any thing about them every one was having trouble in the ruts including me:D well gotoo go. see ya

ruts are like little berms, you use the same body position and dont try and steer the bike, come into a rut at the angle its pointing then site down in the berm position and accelerate smooth
