me and my friends are gonna be jumping my ramp for hte first time on saturday. We havent jumped it yet due to weather but its like 50 degrees today and the ground isnt frozen anymore so im gonna take out my studs and jump it.
so i know that you gotta be accelerating all the way up the ramp ect. but what else should i do differently.
the biggest dirt hit i went off was a 60 foot kicker.

put it up close at about 30 foot, muck around with different jumping techniques and gears and stuff until you find something that feels the best. get used to pre loading off it. i got my speed before the ramp then let coasted a tiny bit then pinned it all the way up with my head nicely over the cross bar, you also might wanna have 2 fingers on the clutch ready to tap the brakes. if you have a long brake or dont think you feel quite up to it dont hesitate to move it back in

well we went over it now
we started with it at like 10 feet
then we pulled it back to about 20 feet
then about 30
then about 35
when it was at 10 feet it was snowing really hard.

you guys had a ramp in the snow.......thats sick!
what was your surface on the ramp?
and how did you get traction goin up it?

we used sand painted plywood
there was lots more traction on the rammp than on the ground
the landing wasnt frozen yet so that was cool
youdd be sliding all the way up to the ramp cause we took out our studs but once you hit it , there was plenty of traction
