i am getting a 2000 yz426f and i like freestyle i have been riding a 2001 yz250f. It shouldn`t be any different should it. i mean i really put fourth into the work do u think that would make a big change for me?

well i havent ridden either bike, but seeing as youve already had the 250f (i presume youve jumped it??) then it should be fairly easy to adjust to teh 426 :)
Just make sure u dont stall it in the air :D

A couple of years ago Trevor Vines broke into FMX on a YZF400.
It might be a little heavy, but it's definitely up to the task.

the 426 would not be my first choice for fmx. actually it would be very near the bottom or my list. htere are sooo many better bikes for freesytle than the 426. any japanese 2 stroke or any ktm 2 stroke(big bikes of course). i mean it is possible to freestyle on a 426, if u want go for it dude. i would just rather have other bikes for it. hope this helps ya!

it's all in what ya like. the 2 strokes definitely have an advantage over 4's in freestyle, but if you're not super serious about it i'd just get the bike you have the most fun on.
personally i think you're crazy for switching from a 250f to a 426 but hey, pick your favorite
