when you guys do cliff hangers are you just hanging on the bars with your toes kinda or do you put your feet more down and kinda squeeze the triple clamps with your legs, is there any other ways to do em, and do you take your feet up then take your hands off or take your hands off and put your feet up at the same time

I HOOK THE BARS WITH THE TOP OF MY FOOT RIGHT WHERE MY LEG CONNECTS TO FORM THE "L" SHAPE IN YOU LEGS. THIS IS THE SAFEST WAY, I SAW FOSTER ALMOST MISS A CLIFFHANGER IN PRACTICE THIS WEEKEND! I USUALLY JUST THROW THE BARS DOWN TO MY FEET AND MY BODY UP AND THROW MY HANDS UP, I TRY TO GET THEM AS VERT AS POSSIBLE. DON NOT HOOK WITH YOUR TOES EDDIE, THATS ASKIN FOR MISSING THE BARS!!!

You could do them like Deegan, and grip the shroud with your calf and barely take your ### off the seat. A good way to LEARN them... not a good way to do them when you're pro.

I do pretty much exactly what OneWest said...

I have my feet ALMOST to the bars when I take my hands off... close enough to know that I won't miss..

But i have seen guys take their hands and feet off at the same time and jump up and catch the bars with their feet... those guys are nuts.

I like dan pastor's cliffhanger the best :)
