Keep the following in mind when you want to attach an image to a post:
* The file type must be one of: gif jpg png txt zip bmp or jpeg. For Windows users, that means the file name must end with one of the aforementioned suffixes.
* The file must be all image and nothing but image! For Macintosh users, that means that the file cannot have a little thumbnail icon (technically, the it cannot have a resource fork). To get a pure image file, you can tell Photoshop not to include the extra crap with image when saving (in Preferences), or save the image "for the web," or finally, drop the file onto one of the many utils that will strip the resource fork from the file.
