alright...this cd was given to me for reasons i do not know. a friend dropped it off and just told me to check it out. it was the new one from "Soil". you can hear them on the local "heavy" radio station (106.9 wccc if yer slammer_74 or vinesy). i dont know what to call it...its not "nu-metal" in my opinion cuz there is no rapping or djs...or any of that crap. its just pretty straightfoward hard rock...but heavy enough that i would say if you like the more mainstream 'metal' stuff....you should check them out. i dont think this will become a cd that is in my cd player all the time...but i put it on my comp just in case im in the mood for it. that also means i can send it to people. its very guitar heavy...and the guy has a pretty cool voice...very loud and deep...but not growling at all. its also got really really good production..so if you have a good car stereo...your in for a treat. the album is called, "scars" before i forget.
now everyone that likes the stuff i like...i.e.: real metal (;)) does not need to post in here saying how bad this band is....im pretty sure i could have guessed you would say that. :) this one is for the "mainstream" people. enjoy.
