Not so well known, but Chad from Bleeding Through plays guitar in it, so you know it's gotta be somewhat good. Taken rocks. Mostly hardcore, with a pretty heavy mathy feeling. Yep. Mathcore. Download some... they rock.

oh god...let it go. core's are pretty damn ###...ugh...i hate callin Killswitch "MetalCore"...but it just fits sometimes...or calling some bands "emocore"...so lame. i guess i just dont like the whole 'genre' thing....music has to be seperated into genres...but i dont think the genres need to be seperated into sub-genres...but thats just me. :)

yeah i hear ya. i pretty much just call everything i listen to hardcore. unless it's coheed.. then i dont know what to call it.

but when im describing a band on here.. i try to make up a good -core for it. ;)

i do it just to piss you off.

j/k.

i figured as much.

truly..the only reason im sick of the core thing...is cuz back in high school we used to call EVERYTHING "core". no matter what it was...you added core to the end of it...so im just sick of it now. :)

and i just realized that some old habits dont die....cuz my comp still reflects that old "core" name game.

this has always been this way...go check the wallpaper thread and see for yerself. :)

Yeah that's how it is here, too. Although more and more people are starting to hear of them, because of MTV and stuff. And at the X Qualifiers, they played Life To Lifeless at least 10 times Saturday night alone.

And man... My Documents Core? hahaha. i didnt notice that before.

they played it at the x qualifiers? really? for what reason? was it just backround music? or was it rider picked?

and yeah...my documents core...my last comp and everything with a core after it...im dumb. :)

I found their newest album 'caution' about a month ago, so I picked it up. It took a few listens but it's still in the stereo now.... which says something. I'll probably get some of their older stuff if I see it around:)

thanks... I'll keep an eye out for them. They definately sound a little different but every song on the CD is pretty good after you get your head around it.

well they're a really original band...everyone can appreciate that. the thing that turns some people off is the scratchy vocals..i absolutely love it though. i think it adds a ton to their credibility.
