If you're into rock that's not heavy but not annoyingly catchy, then check out Zac Maloy. This guy is an amazing songwriter. He used to be the lead singer of the Nixons before they broke-up. His sound isn't as hard as the Nixons, but his music has meaningful lyrics and catchy hooks.
