im gonna be jumping ramps in 2 days, no matter what (unless my bike brakes or sumthin) so i would really appreciate some pointers on jumping them instead of everyone telling me not to jump them. any tips or words of advice you have on jumping ramps would be greatly appreciated.
these are the ramps http://www.geocities.com/nexcorporation/Rampindex.html
i can also move them basically as much as i want and have 3 full days to jump them

Start at a small gap (30 ft or so) and be sure of the speed before you hit it.
Also make sure you can use the rear brake to bring the bike level, because if u cant do that instinctivly, you might loop out the 1st time..

make sure you know the proper speed
if liams riding it should be easy for you
but if not you should be able to work it out properly
oh yeah dont be scared
coz i hit my ramp way too fast the first time i went for it and landed 3 meters past the landing

soemthing i forgot before, dont change your riding style when you first hit it.
Like if you normally hit jumps in high RPM, keep doing that.
But if you normally use a high gear/low RPM, stick with it for a bit.
thats what brought me undone on my ramp, i wasnt used to high revs... :(

FIRST CHECK THE RAMP OUT, ANY CRACKS IN THE WELDS??? ANYTHIGN LOOSE OR SKETCHY ABOUT IT? IF SO, I WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING IT FIXED BEFORE YOU JUMP. SECOND, CHECK IT OUT, WALK ON IT, MAKE SURE IT IS STURDY, GET A FEEL FOR WHAT I WILL LOOK LIKE. NEXT, SET IT AT REDICULOUS CLOSE GAP FOR A RAMP(10-15 FT), ID SAY CLOSER THEN 30 FEET BEING AS YOU ARE ON AN 80 AND IT IS YOUR FIRST TIME. GET USED TO IT, YOU ARE IN NO RUSH BRO. GET USED TO PRELOADING OFF OF IT, FEELING HOW YOUR BIKE REACTS, IT IS WORTH CHECKING THESE THINGS OUT, IT WILL HELP YOU ENJOY THE RAMP MORE. I BET YOU'LL HAVE IT SET BACK AT A GOOD SIZED GAP BY THE END OF YOUR THREE DAYS. JUST TAKE IT EASY. RAMPS, IF RIDDEN RIGHT, ARE AWESOME, SO TAKE YOU TIME THE FIRST DAYS, YOUR NEX BUDDIES WONT BE IMBARRASSED. WELL HOPE I AM OF SOME HELP. GOOD LUCK LITTLE BRO, TEAR IT UP!
