god hates us all sucks balls...

Seasons was their last good album, and quite possibly the best at that. the rest after that is pure CRAP! with the exception of a few tracks of Divine Intervention

Angel Of Death is, and will always be, my fav song by them.

Hey AcrotisM... I think that God Hates Us All is definitely a step in the right direction for Slayer - Having been a huge fan of theirs since the late '80s and cutting my teeth on Reign in Blood, South of Heaven, Haunting the Chapel, etc, etc, I thought that Divine Intervention and Diablous in Musica were kind of a crummy showing from one of the masters of metal. With the release of God Hates us All you can hear them taking a step back to their roots. I personally rank that album as one of my top ten favorites - right after Seasons in the Abyss....

God Hates Us All is awesome...even better cuz Kerry King wrote all the lyrics...giving them that return to their satanic beginnings. good stuff. and it's super edgy metal..something they excel greatly at.

i agree God Hates Us All is the best of the previous few efforts...but i still think it's crap...

the thing i miss most about Slayer nowadays (even though i wasn't really around, well i was under the age of 7 when all their best stuff was being released) is the quick palm muted strokes by Kerry and Jeff, the satanic lyrics, and Tom's unique vocals, plus the general 'TRUE THRASH' they pounded out...his vocals changed, which may not be partly his fault, ageing and all, but they've still got the talent there, they just don't seem to use it too their advantage...all the riffs are easy.

and Tom's clean vocals suck major balls now.
