Just got home from the Tool concert here in edmonton, and am very much under the influence right now.......... neway.... KICKED F***IN A$$! one of the best concerts ive ever been too... Meshuggah (sp?) opened for them, and as im not a big fan of the really heavy music.... they got me pretty stoked... tool played all the songs i wanted them too (all but eulogy) and had CRAZY effects (lights, videos, etc....) if u ever have a chance to catch them live, do it... great time...

did Maynard hide in the corner like he does everytime i see them? or was he actually out front interracting with the crowd?

well, he didnt hide in the corner.. but he was back a bit.... . he was movin around all freaky like the dudes in their video's...

last time i saw them...he was standing in front of a big video screen....with his back to the crowd...singing the whole show. and it was the only video monitor that was front lit...so you could see a nice view of his back and ###..im sure the ladies loved it. when the show ended...they dimmed the lights when he came out to take a bow. dork. i love the music...but i found it so boring to watch a singer hide in the corner...i like interraction.

yeah interaction is good.. but with a band like tool, so strange.. and a dude like maynard.... VERY strange... u expect this kinda thing.... didnt dissapoint me....

the saving grace of the show i last saw was the insane vids they played...surgical procedures and such. and then the two naked people hanging 100ft above the stage doing acrobatic manuevers. that was pretty rad to see.

Tool was badass last time I saw them... but that might've been because I was only 12 or 13 or something and that was the first show i've ever been to. Anyway... they're coming back next month, and I think I'm going to go just to see Meshuggah. Maybe not though, cause tickets will be expensive as hell and there will be so many stupid "goth" and nu-metal kids there.

i tried to not mention those goth and nu-metal kids...but you brought it up first bro...so yeah...they were SO annoying. i dont even wanna go into the reasons why....but i DO NOT enjoy having weed smoke blown in my face every 30 seconds throughout a 4 hour show. they had a big part in me NOT enjoying that show. not saying that every nu-metal kid smokes weed...but the nu-metal kids at the show i watched were the most annoying people i have ever encountered.

And yes Maynard hid as much as he could spoke about 10 words the whole night and he was painted blue.

But damn can those boys play good live

And yes mUsshaga sucked ### live, it was brutal. Most of the building just sat down and talked. Their CD's arn't too shabby but they got little talent live,
