i find Cradle so irritating, but i think the main reason is Dani Filth's vocals...they really drive u crazy after a while...the music is quite good, but Dani just doesn't cut it for me...

Millencolin, on the other hand...they are great. a punk band with actual talent. definately my fav punk act...i saw em about a year ago. very impressive.

Pearl Jam had some BRILLIANT stuff...but the newer stuff is lacking something in my opinion. "Alive", "Even Flow", "Jeremy"..those songs were absolutly AMAZING...stunning in their brilliance...i cant get enough of them. BUT..the new stuff is not the same...seems that the band is getting lazy..or running out of ideas..i dont know..maybe the new album will prove me wrong...i can honestly say that i HOPE it will change my mind. i respect those guys to no end....id love to see them get back on top of pop culture..as much as i HATE pop culture.

Well said, Jeff... I thought that most of "Ten" was really good stuff, but after that they took a seriously artistic swan dive into an empty pool. Haven't liked what I hear from them in quite a while...

Flying V's are the best guitars ever! Sound and looks-wise...Alexi Laiho's (Children Of Bodom) Flying V is the sickest guitar i have ever seen...especially with the frets and the gold outline.

them along side B.C. Rich Warlock's are SO good (and Beast's of course)...me bandmate has a warlock, and i'm so amazed every time i play it/see it...it's got the best look to it. so evil looking!

you and i rarely disagree...but come on...Lamb Of God never sounds nu-metalish...never. they are the real deal when it comes to underground american metal..and they do it damn well. they arent really trying to be brutal...just heavy..and they do it quite well. no black metal..death metal...whatever metal here...just straight up american underground metal. we all have our own opinions...and i respect that...but i no one i know has ever said they sound nu-metalish...and we all HATE nu-metal.
