Well, I've agonized over this for a few weeks, and I just got to do it. My bike and all gear/sundries are up for sale. I just bought another car to go boarding this winter (too many miles on my new truck last year) so I need that garage space back. I look at my poor bike that hasn't been ridden in a month or so and I just see new boards and a couple of trips I want to take this winter. AAAARRRGGGHHH......this sucks. I spent all winter working on it, powder coating it, etc. I really don't want to sell it, but my buddy just called and he's putting his bike in the paper today.....that pretty much sealed it.
I'll try to get a picture up, but I kinda doubt anything will come of this...it might be easier if I was in Cali where the majority of ya'll are, but........blehhh.
1998 KX 250- newer flo green plastic (It was brand new last summer, I fall a lot), new graphics, new seat cover, powder coated black wrinkle frame, Renthall bars (the ones on there have three rides on them, I also have the Renthals I had on there before that, they are not bent-I just hated the gold and they were all scratched and nicked up), newer tire on back (4 rides?), paddle tire, suspension was done by Devol racing, new fork seals (5 rides), uhhhhhhh. can't think right now. The bike has been the nicest one I have ever owned. The dude I bought it from two years ago bought it new and had it ever since. I have all the original receipts from when they first bought it, receipts from when they would change the spark plug...crazy how meticulous this bike has been maintained.
Tech 6 boots-black, size 12, about 5 rides....
HJC helmet- green, pretty good shape....
Vega helmet-black, I doubt if I could even give this cheapy away..
Aluminum stand- the kind where you slide it under the bike and press the lever with your foot and it raises up..like $100 bucks in store
I have like two new gallon size jugs of Pre-mix castor, 5 gallon gas can, extra air filter, filter oil/cleaner.......all sorts of ####.
