Everyday i kategorise my thrash. EVERYDAY i put the plastic in one box, cans in one, news paper in one, other cardboard boxes in one and the list goes one. I ride my bike or walk to my job. (1 hour walk total a day). I even use my own bag to have groceries in so i dont have to buy plastic or paper bags.
I always buy ecological or organic food that is produced as close at home i can. I buy meat from the local butcher.

***king hell, im a model citizen aren't i?

BUT IM TIRED OF IT WHEN NO ONE ELSE ***KING CARES. Im getting tired of being called names for doing it. IM tired of ignorant people who think its a bad decision to spend billions on the enviroment. This has nothing to do with obama. But im just sick and tired to feel like im one of the very very very very veryesryeyt few that cares.

im just tired...

same thing when i go out and ride bmx bikes or sometimes even on dirtbikes it sickens me to see trash laying out over your riding spot. Thats how you loose that riding spot. Here in california alot of people have this stereotype of dirtbike riders as idiots who get drunk and throw their trash all over the place and ruin the environment and yes there are people that do this but there are also alot that respect the place they ride and dont want to see it get closed. When you camp pack it in pack it out simple as that.

Yeah im frustrated with that to. At our local riding spot theres alot of people riding there and having fun. But since we have had people throwing garbage around and burning cars!! its been threatened to be closed down. WIch is a shame since the land owner said its ok to ride there as long we take care of the place.

So ***king stupid, and guess who will be *****ing then the riding place is closed down?

I with you buddy.
I live close to work, bike sometimes, drive a 21 year old car on biodiesel, recycle, etc.

It's so frustrating to go to a place where there aren't even any recycling bins. I was at a bar in Pittsburg and they were throwing the empty glass bottles in the garbage.. I couldn't believe it. Don't they have bottle deposits there?

Anyway, some of us care, others are too caught up in their empty consumer-material world. All we can do is our best to set an example. We can't turn everyone into us, no matter how much what we're doing makes sense to us.

I just hope more people wake up before we've hit the point where the earth is on a run-away train path to where it can't sustain human life. That would be awful ****ty, and for all we know, we could have already passed the point of no return. Why? So we can buy stuff and throw it out.. live in bigger houses and drive bigger, newer cars. Breathing in smog, living stressed out lives where we build fences between us and our neighbours. Yup, we've sure got it all figured out.. let's chase it some more and put today's economy at higher priority than the entire remaining existance of the human race. :bent:
