4th - Dan Hall (I think)

Nick Franklin made the final, but had a shocker.....he cased out a couple times....he does nice rock solids though

Matt Schubring cased the 65ft gap in practice and got himself a few stitches....didn't ride any further

Hoppa, Urek, Porter, Harri, Wheale, Franklin, Thompson, Richardson, Dan Hall, Michael Hall competed in the afternoon's event.

Hoppa does strippers now.....but they aren't conventional. Instead of just bringing the leg back through the bars, he saran wraps off. He was also doing insane combos such as switchblade double cans to heelclickers.

Urek does awesome sideways hart attacks. His turndown whips are sick also.

On JP's final jump in the final, he did a mandatory suicide....wasn't enough to win though.

Dan Hall does a new variation to the cordova....he does it to one side of the bars...

Chris Thompson is crap.

Thompson and Wheale were both on 250's and neither did the main 80ft gap. Piss poor effort i say.

Dan Hall won best whip...and what a whip it was.

shannon wheale sucks. you should of seen how bad he rode at the warped tour, really bad jumping style and looped out half his jumps and even cased the wooden landing

shannon weale was on a 125 at adelaide he was only doing 1 jump 60 foot or something with the tiny runup
in his first run he did one trick

He came up here last year too.... he was doing seat grabs about once every 4 goes and did cordovas every other jump, and that's about it.

Yeah definately.....he does sweet no handed catties. But you could tell he was a bit nervous. I was waiting for him to do a dead body but he never did.
Today, Nick and the some of the other boys (including Ray....i had to work...argh) went to Harri's place to ride.....Holtzy went up to Harri's as well to do some filming.

And yes mark, Robbie did numerous lazyboys :rolleyes:

The day at Leigh Harriman's place didn't turn out so well. Urek, Harri, Wheale, Shagga, Franklin, Ray, and Holtzy were there. Urek and Shagga didn't even ride. They had one of the ramps that was used for the Crusty Tour there....set up at 65ft. Ray hit the ramp following Franklin (he had ridden there last week) the first 3 times real smooth. The forth time wasn't so good. He followed Franklin once again but slightly misjudged the speed to hit it at...and his back wheel clipped the top the landing. This consequently threw him over the bars and the bike hit him from behind. He's currently in hospital...not real sure how he's gonna be....i'll find out more tomorrow. The landing was ###ked to be honest. The backside of the landing was hell steep and it just came to a point like a tent at the top. It was hardpacked.....and the landing was pretty small. No safety at all. I don't think anyone rode after his crash. I don't know why he even hit the jump if it was dodgy.

OK...Ray's back at home now. He fractured two parts of his spine, got 9 stitches in his lip, and grazed and bruised pretty bad.....he's lookin at 4 weeks of doin nothing. The bike didn't fair well either.

The rules said the riders as per some law were not allowed in the pit area if they were under 16. Theoretically the way I took it it doesn't mean you can't compete just ur not allowed in the pits, but I suppose that pretty makes makes it near impossible to compete if your not allowed in the pit area.

When you do comps man you should rip if u can put it all together cause you definatly got the tricks.

yeh they dropped the age to 16 years and jake is only 15 so yeh cause of that he cant compete witch is a shame for him cause he is riden good

The rule still is crap, even though they changed it, it's the new blood of the sport is what's gonna keep it going! There's no age limit to when you can start racing mx. What's the diff?

It's probably the same as juniors racing with seniors.... they won't let juniors compete against the seniors. I don't know why, I think it has something to do with insurance, as usual:mad:
