That is sweet. That is where the Super Kicker should be used, not at the X-Games. Super Kickers need step up landings taller than arena's can provide.
Was that poo streaming from behind your bro when in the air? LOL

After looking at it i was wondering? Stole the idea from 7 ind. Wouldn't it kick your back end up to high? I know you showed the pics but what did you bro say when/after he hit it? Oh yeah how did you make it and how much did it cost? Anni i thought you already got freestyle industry blue prints?

No we did not steal the idea when he (my bro) made it I didn't used freestylemx.com. My brother said it did kicks the back up a little bit but it is good. The extension cost $80 and the ramp cost $700 or $800 i think?

hehe, i think he means that he stole the back-end-kicking-up idea from 7 ind ;)

I don't think he meant that you stole the idea for the extension or the ramp from me... I think he meant the idea that the back looks like it would kick up... heh :)
Sx125... I don't have plans from Freestyle Industries. Dan (the owner) said he would help me and my friend lay some out for a nice ramp and help us build it, so no actual plans yet from him.
My friend is roommates with Kenny Bell (sponsored by Freeride Technologies) and he was going to hook us up with some FT plans, but that fell through. It might still be possible, but I guess he doesn't have any plans on hand.
So unfortunately, I'm still rampless :(

Definitely! My friend has some plans that he drew up, and we got some very rough plans from Dave (FSI) today. They wouldn't be any help to you... it just has a sketch, the length, and the height. After Dave helps us set up a ramp and get one built, I'll draw up the plans exactly how we made it and send em to you! :)

Umm.. we were going to make an 8.5' x 24' ramp, but my friend has to have his teacher OK it with the school (welding class). I guess there's some kind of liability issue there if we get hurt on it or something. He said if we downsize the ramp a little bit... maybe even to just 7.5, he might just let us do it and not get it OKed. So with the 7.5' foot ramp, we'd probably be setting it up at about 60 or 70 feet most of the time... maybe 80 :)

December 8th, 2001, 05:31 PM
That will be pretty sweet! I don't know why you couldn't make it the way you wanted it before! Liability? Never heard of that for welding class! Isn't there always a chance of getting hurt in the class? Thats why in my class he makes us sign a paper(liability) saying we won't sue him if we get hurt. So we can build whatever! Well thats how it is in my school!

That's what we're trying to get :) We wanna make the 8.5 foot one!

Good luck with it anni! I hope you guys get it the way you want! Do you go to one of the bigger schools n reno? Only reason why is because we have to pay like 25% of what our project costs! So they can afford it for the next classes! It kinda sucks but it beats not being able to build anything and not paying 50%;) Well i go to a smaller school anyways i think like only a 1,000 kids go to the school.

me and a mate are building a standard aussie comp ramp at scool...they are supplying evrything...we are just paying for it..
its for design and tech...so i made my own desgin and stuff and the teachers hav no problem with us building it....
6.1(L) x 2.6(H) radius of 9.1m
should be sic

i made the exact same ramp in the ecact same class. how bout that eh?? tho our school had ####ty mig welders n crap tools. but we managed. in the pic the ground isnt level, thats why it makes the bottom bit look bent.
