Can you guys tell me what you guys think it is, as Aussies, that has let to your country being a growing and formidable force in freestyle? You guys are hungry and your tricks are off the hook. What's in the water down there?

we havent got many dunes, cliffs and places to ride at so when we go riding its either at a track or in our yards, and if its in our yards we usually only have a set up like a few dirt doubles or a ramp and a landing, if your lucky youll have both, so riding doesnt become stale jumping off the same straight jump over and over again we just practice tricks.

i think its coz everybody tends to forget our country so if we want to make a name for our selves we've gotta put in double time so we can compeat on the yanks level and we are whooping them big time *cough* reed *cough*

i think its becuase the scenc is alot smaller in oz, not as many comps and stuff so everyone just practices there buts of waitin for a comp and when one comes up its bomb drop time

haha i was goin to say that, but thought i would put up a serious post for a change,. most of the top aussie guys are all good mates so i guess they help each other out when learning new tricks, eg freerider shoot at urek compound.

Well, if it is any comfort, you guys may be slapped on the other side of the planet, but everyone knows you are there- trust me. One thing about the US is that most of these guys travel in the same circles and it is difficult for anything new to remain a secret for very long. X Season is crunch time up here, and the skill level has risen to a fevered pitch. I am sure you guys know how your mental state of mind can impact your riding. The seppos all know that you guys are down there tearing things up, out of sight and earshot. After seeing Daniel Hall and Dayne at the X qualifiers the expectation is that the Aussies are going to unleash themselves on freestyle like a pack of rabid dingos. I hope you guys do. I'll be cheering you on.
