RM or YZ?

Okay folks, ive got a lil predicament!
I currently have a Crf 450, 06 model, the last 2 bikes i've had have been 250 2 strokes, Cr and Ktm Sx. The tracks i mostly ride on are sand and the every time ive ridden the thing on sand it has felt really heavy, has crap suspension and feels more nervous than a ****** on a rape charge lol!
So ive decided to go back to the good ole' light n nimble 250 stroker, the 2 bikes in mind are a Rm250 and Yz250. I know both have awesome reviews in Transworld and other mags, but i'd like opinions off people who own n ride em?
Any comments would be appreciated, thanks.

I personally would go with the YZ250 it feels more comfortable for me to sit on....and I know the both have kickass engines...I'd say take em for a test ride if you can

they are both good bikes but quality wise you would be a lot happier going with the yz. you will be replacing a lot less parts and it wont get clapped out as fast.

I think i'll go with the YZ, the Rm's look cool but they hav'nt been changed cosmetic wise for the last 5 years! The Yams are basically new bikes so i thinks i'll check them out.

dude if your getting rid of the 450 to go to a 250 because the suspension feels crap. you just answered your own problem man. fix your suspension!!!! get a revalve, set it up for your weight. get new springs if you need to. 450 is THE machine for sand.

i know that im a suzuki kinda person but i would also go with the yz because more technology has gone into them,(the frame) for example. the rm's have been due for a change for quit a while.

even though my bike is yellow....i ride yamaha...and i wont be riding anythign else anytime soon...i love my bike
