Silencer packing

How can you tell if you need new packing? Cus my bikes kinda loud and i would like to quit it down some. So what diffrence does it make and how do you know you need new??

Probly a while, my bike sat outside all winter before i bought it and the guy who had it was an idiot so prolly since they bought the fmf silencer. i long time i bet. Its only 8 dollars, it can only help it so i dotn matter.

and yeah its time to change your packing, so its cheap, get the FMF stuff, youll be alright.

IF if its all black and disgusting looking i just took all the stuff from the outside that was black cut it off and taped it back on but that dont matter since your already getin new
