Actually Pete, just spoke to Bill Bridle from NSWMXR magazine, he spoke to MA and they said it is still in place, but will be under review next year.

I've checked out the invite and the rule has changed to 16 years and over, there are 2 classes of 125 and 250. Runs are timed at 1min 30 seconds. licence is required, however most pro aussie freestylers already have this, due to performing shows and competing previously.
Prize money per round starts at 4000 for 1st and drops by 500 dollar increments.

i read the fax and thats what it said, i dare say they mean that they'll judge 125cc riders separately to the 250 cc riders possibly.PUREFMX (http://www.geocities.com/pureaddrenalin)
