00 kx and 94 kx

I have a 94 kx and my friend has a 00 kx, well his power is really diffrent from mine. His ripps really quick and you have to shift fatser, but mine isnt so rippy and mine has more top, i have a fmf fatty pipe and his pipe is stock, so why is his so diffrent? And is there any way that can make my bike have more bottum end? I thought a bout a bigger back spocket, would this help?

Well you have a good start on it already with a fatty that helps alot with bottom end....try getting a fmf shorty if you don't already have one they help alot for bottom end....Well the reason why his is different than yours is because.....Wait a minute!...You shouldn't have more top than him!?:confused: You should have more bottom and yours should pull even in the middle alittle more...but he should definatley have more top!...Hmmm!....Interesting!:D

the fattty is for top and bottum. I dptn know, his jsut is diffrent it has mopre punch to it then mine but when mine opens up its quik.

Get your bike ported, works wonders. I am going to have my 98 KX250 ported soon, I want more mid range.

Get some reeds, the ones from Carbon Tech work really well for low end. The fatty pipe is your best bet, so leave that alone.

My bike isn't snappy, but it's got a LOAD of torque...

Just play around and see what you can do.

yeah your right but it doesn't help that much i don't think!? All my friends said don't buy it if you race motocross!...Thats why i'm buying the rev! Nice top end!....

if i ever gotta replace the FATTY on my CR250, im definately gonna get the gnarly, no doubt, i think ive been super lucky to never fall on pipe side, i even slid out in the Street, bike slid for 15 ft apparently, i picked it up still running, rode off, rode back over to the mechanics i work with and they were all laughing and clapping. lol :D no dents or scratches on the bike, tough as nails Honda!:D

Well when i get 150 bucks im gonna by some reeds, but for now im gonna see about getting the boysen super bowls.
