FMX has gotten so big latley, that a lot of the guys riding quads have seen it, and thought "HEy man, I can do that on my quad" Freestyle Quading just keeps growing, Videos are out like "Huevos" "Quatros Locos" etc. What does everybody think about this new rising sport?

i can say from experience, even jumping a quad like a banshee is plain insane! i cant believe how people do fmx tricks on quads. when i was up in the dunes, i was doing no footed cans and heelclickers, but nothing as crazy as ive seen on some videos. better have some good health insurance!

Hell yeah man. I used to ride quads (an probably might again soon) and I got nothing but the utmost respect for those guys. Since im still new to Bikes though, I feel more comfertable jumping on a Quad right now. Probably just me though.

Nah yzr1der is right dude....think about it....the average sport quad weighs about 120lbs more than the average motocross dirt bike. not only that, but when it comes over on you, its stable weight that just pile drives into you because the four wheel balance it and keep the momentum bustin forward. If you dont know how to bail on a quad, and you endo, we're talking a great chance of a back breaking crash. But its not hard at all to bail.

ive grone up with the best two freestyle quad riders in the world, dana creech and tavis cain. theese two guys have been such an inspiration to me through out my whole riding career. dana is the person on the cover of huevos 3 doing a superman, i just saw the finished version of huevos 4 about 2 weeks ago its a pretty sick movie, tavis is on the cover of that 1. huevos 4 should be out in stores like in another week or so.

i'm not sure cause i've only jumped bikes and not quads! and i have respect for those quads bustin huge! bustin big is bustin big no matter what your hucking out there! but wouldn't it be less dangerous to mess up on a quad, ex doing a heelclicker and getting your feet back on late! you have a stable 4 wheels and you won't tip like on a bike!

also i always wanted to know if it is easy to control a quad in the air like brake checking ( locking the back brake) to dip the front end a little or panic revving it to get the front to come up a little?

If your just getting on a quad, its harder to control yourself in the air. You have to land it just tight, because if you land one wheel first, then you could flip. It all just depends. Me personally, its easier for me to jump on a quad, just because I am more used to it.

why are you riding 4-wheelers get off the training wheels and get on a real machine like a dirt-bike nobody needs training wheels anymore. its to easy and no competition on a 4-wheeler if you want cometition get on a dirt-bike also its a lot funner

Everybody has something that really pisses them off, a pet peeve, and supermand or whatever the hell your name is just set mine off. Your probably some little 13 year old kid ridng a XR70, who has never even hit a jump in his life. Tricks on a Quad = Harder. Jumping on a quad = Harder. Trust me, Ive done both. And racing isnt lame, lets see you take a corner real fast on a quad, youll wake up wondering why you flipped sideways so many times. Try a hillclimb on a quad. On a bike you can just lay it over if your not gonna make it, on a quad, you either make it or it flips over on your A$$. Im not dissin' bikes at all, Im just telling it like it is. If your gonna run your mouth, run it about something you have a clue about kid, cause I dont take that *****. Training wheels my A$$, little boy Id like to see you get on one, Id laugh my A$$ off while you cried about all the cuts a bruises youd get. Sorry to all of you who dont wanna hear people get pissed off on this forum, but I dont take that ***** from nobody, period.

let me correct my last statement just a bit.... sickspikez made me realize something... racing a quad isnt exactly LAME.... for me... compared to racing a dirtbike it is LESS EXCITEMENT.... but its not lame.....

i agree quad racing is not as exciting as motocross! except for when quads race on supercross and they all get stuck on eachother! i was at the toronto supercross last may and it was funny as hell watching them all jam up and kicking easchothers quads trying to bust loose!! as far as jumping in my opinion and this is my opinion only i jump dirtbikes and i couldn't imagine a quad being more exciting! but i've never busted a gap on a quad myself! but like i said! Huckin a huge gap is the same on a quad and dirtbike in the riders mind because either way it gets your heart pumping and seems just as hard as the other! it takes balls to bust nice gaps! BUSTIN BIG IS BUSTIN BIG NO MATTER WHAT YOUR HUCKIN OUT THERE!!!
and i apprecitate anyone in this forum who can make a intellignt argument and not run their mouth about something they have had no experience on what they are bashing! sure the crusty movies make jumping look easy, well the riders make it look easy and all the quadros movies make it look easy but the fact is you need balls to do both and that little ##### obviously has no balls to do either!!
