Greetings fellow dirt-scooter enthousiasts (sp)!

I am interested in getting into racing and I was wondering what classes there are for beginers.

Right now I am riding a CR250 for freestyle, and would like to race 250s but I'mnot sure if there is a class for that size that I could race in. I am buying another bike no matter what, and would rather race a tiddler than a 4 banger. This is why I hesitate to enter the 125 class because with a 125 I'd get blown away by 250fs.

I would most likely be racing under NEMA at local tracks, if that helps.

Thanks

both the 125 and 250 classes have beginner or novice classes- D class is for people that have never raced before, and is pretty dangerous from what ive seen, kids and bikes flyin everywhere lol. and if you want to race the 125 class with a 2 stroke, then go either for the KTM or Yamaha, they are the closest you can get to keepin up with the 250Fs

I know that N.E.S.C doesnt have a 250 class but in teh 125 class there are a bunch of compettive 125 riders. If you gona ride 250 class then you'll have to race the grand prix class which any bike size can enter. Im not sure bout nema though

up here they have beginner classes too. they are a little scary yeah. i raced in one this year cause it was my first legit race, and it was way too easy. there is no way someone that just play rides should get first by that much
