Yeah, I love the dunes. I like the huge hills and just flying around wherever I can. The dunes give you a freedom of going wherever you want to go. I sometimes like not haveing to go where someone else says I should. I can go wherever and its always fun.

i agree sand in boring and really hard on the bike for no good reason.
plus everyone thinks they are cool cuz they can go "big" in the sand when they cant do a thing on dirt or anyother riding surface.

I tend to kill myself in the dunes. I hit a barbed wire fence 3rd tapped once at dabinki (sp) utah. That sucked on many levels.

nice flag. how long did that stay on your bike.any time ive ever tried to use one it lasts for about 50 yards then I have to rip it out of the back wheel. How do you get extension behind your bike with a flag?
MXjunk127
June 13th, 2005, 08:39 AM
man it sucks that you have to have flags at LS...one time no one was out and we rode with out them, that was cool.......
dude, Kermit??? I was told that those dunes suck... and were small, I may have to check em out.

the flag stayed on the whole time, you mount it on a little metal bracket, and clamp it to your silencer, it works really well, they have them at the little sahraha shop, so you can just like buy it when you get there.

i've never been to little sahara but i don't do flags! I like kermit cause you can find good hits, free, just as far either way, no popo's! It's no glamis. by any means. But for a free ride experience in texas kermit is the place to be! Best time to go is in october. Halloween weekend !!!!

i dont know how people can say dunes are boring. maybe if you just ride up and down them they suck, but last time i was there jumping 170 foot from one dune to another 5th gear pinned was far from boring.
