First time at a track

I'm goin to a track for the first time on tuesday, im goin with a freind that has been there b4, but i was wondering if ne one has ne tips or ne thing, i just want some help. I'm hoping i will get better, and i will hopfully get pics, later, and thanks

make sure you don't get landed on by someone thats really fast lol

if there are fast guys and you get nervous, dont pull off, just hold your line and they will get around you, thats what i have noticed with first timers.

if you have to roll anything and there are people around, stay waaaaaaay to the side of the track

and like suzukirider said, hold your line, dont swerve around. fast dudes will find their way around you, no need for you to try to get out of the way

also when you hear someone coming up behind you dont look behind your self, i have seen so many accidents that way. also dont ride over your head stay loose and have fun.

Tea, dont feel nervous, remember everyone there had their first time out on the track also. They understand. Have fun!

Like others have said hold your line, moving out of the way for faster riders can cause wrecks. If somebody is faster than you they can find a way around you. If you roll a jump make sure that you hold your line over it and dont move to one side or the other, a few weeks ago I was coming up on this slower kid in practice and I had already picked my line to get around him after I saw him start to roll the double in the middle of the take off and once I took off from the double I saw him start to move to the right, he thought he was getting out of my way but was actually messing up big time. I landed right on his shoulder and he went down pretty hard, I smacked my throat on the bars pretty hard but didn't go down. So please hold your line.

that pretty much is good right there
and dont go actin tough i see that alot... and sometimes well at tracks around here at least if ya got a freestyle bike and go out there ppl will rag on ya but we do that around here cuz its our friend and his bikes cut up and he cant ride/freestyle at all

hey guys it was pretty damn fun, i did alright, im pretty happy tho considering its my first time at a track and pretty much one of the few times i have acually ridden my new 125. i got a pic here of the biggest jump i hit, next time im hopping ill go bigger, i dont have ne pics where im acually in the air cuz my mom was in control of the camera? hahah i was hittin it almost the top of 4th gear, so it rly sent u flying. thanks a lot guys for the tips i apreciate them a lot!
