has anybody used them? how did you find them?. i think they are a great idea, but at almost 150aus it seems like alot of money..

Ive seen ones like it, I just use a regular digi watch to time me.

check out the DMC Moto-Trainer II. I've used it and it works really well. Straps to your handlebar pad and you control it by a button you mount on your bars (looks like a kill switch). Got a 9 rating in the new TWMX

a lap timer recordes everylap so you can see if your improveing at all. You push the button at the finish line and push it again next lap and it will record all your laps.

With that one, you don't have to press a button. You put a reciever on the finish line. So everytime you pass it, it grabs an accurate time, everytime. Unlike pressing a button.
And there a loads more features on it aswell.

sounds like they'd be really handy if you were working hard on improving on a certain track, or just getting faster in general...if your not really that concerned about how much you're improving a buddy with a stopwatch is alot cheaper if you don't need as accurate results...
