cracked gas tank

i cracked my gas tank a week ago and need some suggestion on a temporail fix for it, because im really low in money as of now and cant afford a new one. any help is wanted.

It can be plastic welded for a fraction of the cost of new.
Let me guess, you have a YZF400/426?

thats what i did, i don't remember how much it cost, like $20 i think

try some jb weld! my freind cracked a cilander on his yz250 so he put on gobs of jb and it worked good fo the rest of his trip out their

yeah jsut get it plastic welded!! but the gas tank might have two layers! on the inside there is sometimes a layer that doesn't weaken from gasoline and then an outer shell which is the outside where your graphics are and stuff!!
