Stiffer Suspension for XR 100

Hey all! I got a 2000 XR 100 and i think i'm easily wrecking the bike every time i land. I tried my older brothers 2000 cr 80 and I liked the stiffness in that. So do any of you know how to stiffen it up on a four stroke 100?

You can't. You have to get new shocks. Or actually you could get a stiffer spring. But i'd go buy 80 shocks. You'll be way more satisfied. More suspension and softer. Go with the 80 susp. Trust me. My friends got an xr 100. The susp. on em sucks hard. we bottom it all the time front and rear. Only my 90lb neighbor can't bottom it. But it's pretty hard to ruin an xr shock... there bullet proof.

If your not satisified with your suspension or bike...i think it is time to get a new one! Start saving up money and sell you xr...did you like your bro's 80....to big...to little...if it is buy a 125...You'll love it!:cool:

screw a 125...just get a 250....u will regret getting a 125 as soon as u get used to it

Matter of fact my dad has a 125 and i do love it! i was thinking about buying that but then i thought that i liked 4 strokes better so i think i'm going to get a YZF 250 next.

If you start jumpin those XR's to hard the back engine mount bolts break and ovalize the holes which in turn makes the motor move sideways every time you let out the clutch or give it gas. Which cause the chain the come off ALL the time.

those do look sweet now u just need liq. cooled engine for the one of them i coulnt see if the other had it or not!!!
