My friends 00 kx125 has fouled 2 plugs in 2 days. He revs it out but its still foulin.

I told him to run 40:1 instead of 32:1, well the dealer says he has to run 32:1.

So what else could it be??

A 60 day warranty doesn't cover a 2 year old bike. It ends 60 days after you buy the bike from the dealer. And i'd say change the jetting and you should be fine.

well when i first bought my 2000 cr 80 i kepp and keep fouling sparkplugs finally we called the local honda shop and talked to a mechanic he sayed to ajust the carborater(i dont know how to spell it) and it should be fine. so we adjusted it and it was great it hardly ever fouled a sparkplug after that so maybe uotta try that.that was my problem

Oh I get it now. I dont think the dealership would re-jet it for free, but its not that hard to do yourself.

if he is running a 9 heat range spark plug, try running an 8 heat range spark plug, example : NGK plugs, BR9ES. BR8ES.) the 8 heat range is hotter, dont go any hotter than that, its risky, ive heard you can blow out your cylinder doin that, dont know if its true, but im not gonna risk it.

but REjet for your temperature etc. that is the cause more than likely, good luck.!

You can run 40:1 and it won't do anything to the bike.

Well i run a ngk, br8evx or sum thin like that. he put an 8 in it.

good enough, and it is still fouling with the 8?? if it is, keep using the 8 and rejet a tad leaner, better too rich than too lean man! good luck

my dealer told me to mix my gas 32:1 but i mix like between 50/60:1 and its just fine runs better now if that dont help ajust the carb.
