is my clutch slippin or is this normal. like after i get through riding my bike for a good while its real warmed up. i will put it up on its stand and put it in nutral pull in the clutch and shift in to first or second whatever and gas it and with the clutch pulled in it will still make the tire go faster after i gas it, is that normal a friend told me to do it and see if it still goes. how do i no if my clutch is slipin.('')

dat normal.
Ride in top gear at a slow speed, preferably on asphalt.
Pull in clutch.
Full throttle.
Let clutch out really fast with throttle still pinned.
If your engine doesn't slow down immediately, your clutch is slipping.

yeah, he means if you have a good clutch, and have a 250! and you pinn the gas and pop the clutch! well the pic should tell you wat will happen! except you wont control it like that! youll keep fallin back! lol and yeah my bike does it too! its cause there is no resistance on the back wheel! if your bike is on the ground, and you put it in first gear with the clutch pulled in, and there is no force pushing you forward. then id say you dont got to worry about a bad clutch! :)
good luck dude!

me and my friend are currently fixing his clutch right now...this is what happens, when he is in nuetral and clicks into first the bike will move, even though the clutch is all the way in, this is because the clutch basket has grooves worn into it from the clutch plates, so we have to sand all the grooves out... that will fix the problem

ITs NOT the manufacture, well partly... all i know is that yamahas clutch baskets suck... but it also depends on how the rider uses the clutch, if you abuse it, then yes it will wear faster, also if you use it alot, lots of riders dont use the clutch to their advantage and use it wrong thats why they wear...
