Ok i went with the "kill switch on the right hand side" idea, so ive now swapped the good grip to my throttle side and ive got about 4-5cm more room on the left hand side for an extended grip now :)

But... The grip is streched a little bit and its just a little bit loose. So I'm thinkin glue it and use some grip wire to hold it in place. Will this be alright?

any other ideas?

I did use the old ones for the extended bit :)

I figured it out and i put electrical tape on the bar and made it a real tight fit, but i used some super glue so hold it in place better. Its easy to do and i recon it should work alright :D

use wd-40, let it dry overnight, once dry they never come off, but if you need to take em off just get them wet with water

Hairspray works hella good for putting grips on, they slide on easy and dry in the sun in about an hour, still nuffin beats wire.

ok put electircal tape around ur bars and then tip fuel over it..then slide ur grip on...and leave it overnight b4 u ride it..the fuel will melt the electrical tape to ur bars and grips and then theyll never come off....lol

you can also buy grip glue and use an air compressor and point it at the inside of the grip and just pull it on that what i always use

If you use WD-40 or hairspray, they will fall off when riding in the rain. I used to do this but...

Buy ATV grips with the same grip style as your grips for your bike. ATV grips are for your bar size as they do not use a throttle tube.
