Alot of people ahve been wanting to see ramp plans, so ill post this of mine,, its not very good, bacause i drew my plans up real detailed in pencil and it wouldnt scan so i drew one on the computer, most of the measurements are ther, its 1.2 metres wide, has an expanded mesh surface that is see through, and the curve is bent at around an 8 metre radius with the last 1.5 metre flatened, im pretty pleased with this as its my first ramp and i made it all by myself. The curved bit of steel use steel that is wider than thicker , i used square pipe that is 5 cm wide and 2 cm hight that way it flexed to shape real easy. and i used 4cm square tubing for the frame whick was 2mm thick steel. its pretty heavy

because my metal was cut, not bent. and we made the 1st cut (near the top) too wide, so it turned uot like that.

If i didnt crash after only 2 weeks, it would have been fixed up..

when i jumped the ramp it felt fine, it seemed smooth all the way up! kinda weird really :D

I built a 45ft single-tabletop a couple weeks ago...but my confindence jsut aint high enuf to clear it just yet...

Plus my suspension is crap :D

yea landing just short on a big table can be just as bad as over jumping a double

yea the trouble with landin on table tops like that is the suspension compresses then bounces you off then there is no ground underneth you then you land on the flat and if your sideway you can go down big

yea thats exactly what happens to me, i was told if you get on the throttle really hard it shouldnt happen

lo, it happened to me last week :D I would gona about 40ft, and cos the dirts so slippery, the bike kinda went sideways, bounced 1/2 way down the landing, and slid out...and i smacked into tha ground pretty damn hard :D oh well

i havnt gone down like that, and your right if you get on the gas real hard it shoots forward a bit and doesnt shoot you side ways as much , but 40 foot isnt that far so just go in second and pin it and youl clear it easy, or go in 3rd luggin heaps, depend on how you jump

yea i know its not very high, but alot of the riders on here arnt heaps good, but its a real nice beginer ramp, i can still pull sweet seat grabs off it. we have another ramp that is 2.5 or 2.4 or somthin but the surface isnt on it yet so we cant jump it.

the problem with my ramp is that it isn't bent on the curve but i have modified it on the second join so its smoother
it still feels smooth when u hit it though.

yea some of my old dirt hits used to have terrible lips with big chunks and holes in em and they werent curved to good, but it still felt pretty smooth.
