But i wanna know whether or not if this forum section has restrictions on the size of photos attached? There should be no restrictions if there are any.

There is a system-wide limit of 100KB for each uploaded image.

The limit is in place to prevent abuse (not that anyone here would be abusive) but also to keep the size of a single page's worth of content down to a reasonable size. When viewing a thread requires a multi-megabyte download it can be a drag for those people who are not on the other end of an OC48...

Besides, you can pack quite a lot into a 100 KB. Check out any of Alex's photos...

i agree, 100kb is a fine limit. people stuck on 56k (ME!) dont wanna load up 5megs of pics on 1 page...

Ok, i understand. Just put links up for photos that you don't want reduced i guess. :p

i agree with MM my recent pics i took when i went to post them i had to butcher them to heck and back just to get them to fit. which is fine i understand why its a 100K limit but why not turn the hot links on, i dont see why you would turn them off to begin with, that way we can hot link from our webpages and post as big of pics as we want.
