hey guys...
just wondering if i ne one can tell me why when i add a DV clip into Adobe, it only shows the first frame and the last frame instead of just playin the clip? Its givin me the ####s bad!! it seems to be only a prob with the DV (.avi) clips....coz the .mpg one plays fine.
Im kinda new to adobe but not new to video editing....ive just completed an edit for my FMX team...but im tryin to iron out a few probs with the better program.
Thanks for ur help, its greatly appreciated

Hey brudda I think I know the prob. You mentioned another program hey... Did you use that to capture the vid? Cause Premiere doesn't seem to like that too much at all, some sort of incompatibility with the way other programs capture the DV stuff I think. So I'm sorry to say it but I think you'll have to recapture it using Premiere, hoping you still have the tapes... And I feel sorry for you cause I know it's a crappy job especially since you've already done it once... Good Luck.

Ah yes Videostudio... Fun times have been had with that, NOT. I guess ya could export em as mpgs in that then chuck em back in Premiere if they're all already edited and maybe try and play with it that way cause yeah it will be a major pain to get it all again if you have already edited it too. No worries ay;)

yea #### ay.....its really pissin me off coz i wanted to get this vid out ages ago n now im lettin the boys down, coz some of them r gonna use it for sponsorship or show offers....
Im thinkin my only hope is to find a DV converter that will make them generic again....which shouldnt be that hard to do...i hope :(
