What was the worst accident or the one you wont never forget
that happened to you. I have my bike only 2.5 months and this weekend i broke of my front brake and other things. so.. :(

but anyways, i overjumped only a 45ft ramp gap, and shattered both my ankles :(

luckily i haven't had any wrecks too serious (like Crusty's) but the one "major" wreck I've had was off a little "double" It was a lip, a little 15ft gap and then a VERY slight downhill to flat. Well seeing as how you couldnt tell if you overjumped it or not, we were just hitting it fast and flat landing it to where we were jumping about 40 feet or so. I hit it about 6 times and on the last time I caught a rock and it knocked me off the gas. So as soon as I left the lip I was in a sever nose dive. Lack of experience kept me from revving it again, so I just held on and prepared for the ground. My head hit before the bike did, bike landed on my back and head, and proceeded to bounce till it landed in a ditch some 20 feet away. :) Not much happend to me, just a big scrape on my back from the bike and a few other bumps and bruises. I crushed the tops of both spring guids and ovaled the spring caps and blew my fork seals... I was more worried about the bike lol...but $200 later everything was ok! I prolly typed much more than needed to be said, but oh well :) That's the wreck I wont forget...till the next one lol

i broke leg and my ankle (2times)doing a superman seatgrab last summer
and 3 months ago i broke my collarbone into 3 pieces overjumping a downhilljump:D

i've broken my right arm once, i've sprained my left wrist over jumping a jump in a competition, i've broken my right wrist over clearing a double by 15 feet, i sprained my ankle landing with my foot of my peg, and this weekend, my bike cut out on me right as i hit a 75 foot ramp hit and put a hole in my chin from my clutch lever bolt,,,,,,, but it's the best sport on the planet!

:D well 2 years ago i broke my shoulder when my shock broke. Then this year in the middle of my riding season i tried a superman and landed it but then my foot slipped off the peg and got stuck in the axcle. broke leg shattered ankle.:D :D

Last May my back tire stuck into the backside of a landing, stopping my bike dead.. i kept moving, and broke my right femur as my legs clipped the bars as i went over.... wasnt a bad break.. was only out for a month and a half

not too rare...if the dirt is soft, the bike can stick pretty easy

Ive been pretty lucky so far, ive sprained my left ankle 3 times, once when not wearing boots twice flat landing, dislocated my right knee and tore half the ligaments off, only three weeks off, dislocated shoulder which pops out time and time again, that was tryin a one handed superman, and not gettin a proper grip, other than that just the normal cat scratches and bruising but that comes with the sport.

I havnt personally had too many bad accidents, ive broken my collarbone twice, nothin serious. But the accident i can remember most is my friend Matt. He had preciously broken his femur, and had a rod and pins through his knee. Anyways, he was racing, and avioded another rider who didnt jump a jump. Matt landed off of side of the jump and shattered his knee into like 30 sum peices. By the time he got to the hospital, the pins and bone had cut off the circulation from the bottom of his leg. Matt lossed the bottom of his leg from about the knee down and had to get it amputated. Hes doin good and plans to try and ride again someday. Thats my story.

Bike didnt bounce :) and yeah, it was similar to kris rourke's hit.... but it was not as high.... just more forward motion.... and instead of hitting my face, i went flying over the bars.... was real fun *shaking head* :rolleyes:

i like that crash that seems to be all over the net when you search for crashes, i think it was twitch at a pace event, he did that rourke style crash except dug in a bit higher on the down ramp then flew over the bars and slid all the way down the landing without a shirt

in that one, his bike seized as he went up the jump, thats why it nosedived :(

I guess thatll teach him to run his pistons in properly :D

just yesterday i was riding at a local track, i took a 25 foot double but had a little to much speed going over it, front wheel went straight down and over shot the landin by about 7 ft. cracked my gas tank and cracked a few ribs and bruised the hell outa my sternam.

Local SX track..practicing juimps, reved up to clear this 45 foot long almost 10 feet high tabletop, so i railed the berm got 4th gear on my kx 80, and i flyed high..trust me...ok so i flew darn high...but not far...i i flat landed with my front wheel first an inch away from the down ramp....got knowcked over the bars, and landed on my neck...next thing i knewe was i had a bad headache....apperantly my bike landed RIGHT on my head! shattered my helmet totaly..cracks and holes all over it...so i went to tha hospital..was back in 3 weeks

luckely (damn i fogot how to spell it!!) i havn't had any bad stacks yet..

but about a year ago i was ridin my uncles new XR650 or 600 and i was just racin around in a big paddock. doin jumps off contours and stuff
yeah well anyway i was just ridin off and my neice on his QR50 rode round the track, basically i went in a straight path and the QR went around the track..
then were the track meeted i turned left without lookin way in front of me and my niece on the QR was goin full speed at me and he didn't know how to stop or anythin and he hit the front wheel from its side and he went flyin over the front wheel..under the fender and then kept goin about 5 metres until he hit the ground.. lol it was funny.
got it on video too.
the bad part was a couldn't even hold the bike up so yeah i fell over :rolleyes: and also the QR's forks got bent but we bent then back with a pipe :D

I broke my left femor jumpin a 45 foot jump the first in a new 4 pak that had just been built we'd been jumping it all day and and there was a giant rut up the middle of and stupid me i had to come up it the wrong way hit the rut and throw myself off when the bike was at it highest anyways i got a sweet scar now the only bad thing about it is i cant ride for ages which sucks some major ###

worst crash was probably was when i mistook the take off for bein flatter than it was( jump was 50 footer) andilanded a foot to short nose dived, bounced off the end and snapped my renthals in half, and also got a nasty gash in my back needed 20 stitches.
