What was the first trick you leaned? What do you think is the easiest trick. Mine was a no footer, easier than a 1 footer because it's more balanced, i'm no FMX'er maybe when i get my 125 thou.

My 1st "real" trick would hafta be a coffin, then the lazy boy. I find them to be very easy

1 footers are deffiantly the easiest trick to do, then for me it would be no handers and 1 handers than no footers and so on, my first real trick would probably be a heel clicker

my first real trick was a coffin, looks harder than it is... i always thought it would be... but i was just starting tricks, and i wanted to do a barhop.... and i just started getting my feet straight out under the bars, and layed back... it only took about 5 jumps before i could get a decent one.....

My first was a whip. I never knew anyone started out with something easier than it. Didn't take long to learn. First time I tried, I didn't straighten out enough, and I ate it for like 15 feet.
Damn, that was like, 2 years ago.

November 14th, 2001, 10:33 PM
hahaha! i know the feeling... when i started learning whips, i landed sideways many times... the first time i really tried to whip it hard... i went sooooo far... but i couldnt bring it back at all... it felt good (no... it didnt)

November 19th, 2001, 06:37 AM
Yeah I know what you mean FullThrottle. My first trick was a No footer too, but then I accidentally did a couple supermans in the process. One time I went so far back on the no footer (because I wasent used to the stance you have to have when going into jumps, and the throttle control) and I had to grab one of my grab holes and did my first superman seat grab.

supermans are hard as hell. to get em right anyways. at first they seem easy but your throwin them down by your fender. they are hard to get way up and out like clowers, but you get it eventualy. the ssg is easyer than the superman cause you got your arm to push you up.
savage destruct
December 13th, 2001, 02:55 PM
Yeah your right but they never said a perfect trick!:p Now i can get them pretty high and even when i only got them to the fender my friends still thought it was awsome!

HAHA...i remember back at the 1998 or 1999 Melbourne SX (i forget)...Mike Jones (wanker) came over and was in the Expression Session (FMX Jump Comp on a SX track  )...but anyway, he did a Coffin and the commentators were all like "And Mad Mike does the Coffin!!...now this is one of the hardest tricks on a motorbike, because you can't see your landing, and have to judge it well"...he won too...bastard...my how the times change...

lol i remember all that
coz i used to tape the sx and stuff and everytime they would say that about the coffin been the hardest trick....
i also remember he (jones) would always win the contests by doing these real real small supermans like he would get like 10 centimetres off the seat and t lookd so ###

Hahahah, I was listening to the supercross live on aus.motocross.com and the commentators when Urek came out for the X-session were like,
"Oh maybe he snapped his guard of when he was trail riding!"
"Yeah mike, i've done that a couple of times, he probably cant afford to buy a new one with the slaries FMX'ers are getting these days"
Stupid idiots didnt realise it was cut down!
