Which Fox shock?

i see a bunch of people have Fox shocks on their 50s, which model/length/valving? I have lots of good hookups for mountain bike parts so i was thinkin of picking one up. Also will this work with my Fast 50s frame and swingarm?

fox shoxs like to blow for no reason at all on mtbs and then fox likes to take a month to fix it and charge you 80 bucks and you get it back in the same or worse shape then when you sent it in, but you might be one of the few that gets a ok shock and when it blows (cus it will) that they might give you a new one, that was for the 02 and older ones i dont know much about the 03 since they changed them to "progressive" but i herd all that is, is a few shims added on, so its your money to spend.
