BMX vs 50

Im in kinda need of a new BMX bike pretty bad and im looking at a $440 one that i am really close to getting....but i thinking maybe i could convince my dad to buy me a 50. itd be a lot of fun and i could be lazy and not pedal as much:D ( i would try to ride it to my friends house becuase theres like a 1/4-1/2 mile long hill that kills me on the way there) i would have to pay the bike in payments but...im also trying to get a CR250 so i dont know.
What would be best??

Stop compaining about the hill dude. Get the bmx and some exercise. I ride my bike 2.5 miles each way to school.

i drive my truck 2 miles up hill both ways, man sometimes it is really cold in the truck:D hahha go with the 50 man u will love it

im not really complaining about the hill...its not the reason i dont want a BMX bike(i do want one). its not only the hill. i have to travel like 2 miles plus the hill. i really need something to ride around and ill probably get the BMX bike because its cheaper.

$440:eek: for a bicycle. For that much you could get a used older z50. I wouldnt waste money on a bicycle get the 50.

im not sure if im getting either....well i could get the bike for sure. im not sure about the 50. someone is trying to help me sell my bike fast so i might just get a cr250 and keep my bmx bike. ill try to go in and buy one of them(50 or bmx).

Use the 440 for a down payment on the fiddy then finance the rest, you will have tons more fun, at least i know i had more fun.

GET A BMX! You can do ten times more on a bmx than a 50. They're so much fun. Plus you wont get in trouble for ridding them on the roads.

if my dad says i can get a 50 i will but if he says no they ill get a bmx bike. I found a BMX bike i LOVE. LOL. The 03 Mosh Brass 4 star. The other one sold and this one is $560. It feels perfect...if i got used to it for a day i could ride a long long wheelie and do a bunch of stuff. i went to the local skate park last weak but couldnt ride becuase the people there are ###s but i wanna try the foam pit and stuff. My bike is BMX race so its not good for tricks.
