i'm just wondering about how much would i be lookin at to get a 2nd hand xr50 then puting on a few extras like higher seat, bars, clamps, springs, not realy worried about engine mods. aussie $$$ would be nice

its not for me its for a birthday present

around here people sell 2003 xr50s that are hardly ridden with 88 kits, bar kit, and some suspension mods for like $1000

wow, wish i was in cali, thats cheap as hell considering a brand new stock one is $1200 around me. buing a used fiddy is the way to go, dont have to worry about breaking it in, and most have mods already done, and with the engines being bullet proof you dont have to worry about it being worked over, then if it was, good excuse for a big bore kit.

a 2nd hand 50 is around 1500-2000
tall seat foam is 150 w/ cover
tripple clamp is 240
throttle tube is 220
bars depends on your choice
springs were around 380 for front and rear( not sure on that)
and the 88cc super head kit is 1500
those a the cheapest prices i have found so far
you wont find a tricked out 50 in aus for a while as the craze has only just picked up.
