Does anyone know of any ramp manufacturers in or near Illinois? Or any tracks that have a fmx ramp at them? Because im thinking shipping costs of ramps would probably be pretty pricy! Also, is there lots of experience and knowledge in welding needed to make a ramp yourself? Because I am also considering trying to learn some basics in welding to make one myself. I willing to try anything to get my own ramp!

umm im seriously doubting the illinois ramp production part, but shipping a ramp isn't going to put you back too much. about 500 dollars, i think. anyways, i dont know, and i am poretty sure that no one in illinois makes fmx ramps. yes you do need welding knowledge, the more the better. most ramps builders have numerous year of experience, it is somethign you definitely need experience for. when you hit a ramp it will place a lot of stress on the welds, so they better be good! anyways good luck man

Ok, well then i guess my only chance is to either get some welding knowledge, borrow the tools needed, and give it a try, or try to get some plans and give them to a metal fabricator company near here then right?
