everything i buy these days comes from E Bay , place friggen rules.
ive had several cams... either they wore out or i resold them cuz i didnt like them... the new one is coming probably tomorrow or the next day, its a fuji fine pix 2800 or something like that, it records video and sound and crap ..... only downside is its only 2.1 MP , however its got a 6X zoom so i think that more than makes up for it so i got it,.. plus i saved about $150 from buying its big brother which is the same exact camera only its a 3.2 MP ....whats funny is how much i dropped because of the 6x zoom, my originial inent was to buy a 4.0 MP . but only reason i wanted that is cuz one of my cameras was a Kodak, and for those who dont know any top of run of the mill general public kodak cameras have cheap lenses and it causes poor picture quality and it would of taken 4.0 MP just to get a clear picture cuz it was already 3.1 MP and sometimes wasnt cutting it. ill post a pic so you can see what i mean.. it should be WAAAAAAAAY clearer than this.

not sure if the powershot is good or not? but my guess is gonna be yes cuz i personaly think cannon cameras are awsome. so i think the digi cam im gonna buy will be a cannon, they have very crisp photos

350 -400 could get you a nice camera. thats like 800 aus. but you have to remember all the extra like the batterys. they are very pricey. i might look into one when i get a job, but for know ill just use my brothers.

I got one.
Its a piece of poo though, but it does what it says on the tin!!
Its a fugifilm finepix a201, not too expensive and does some pretty good (average) quality photos.
I like it. only 2 Megapixels, but thats enough for what i want to use it for.

I got a cheap one from wal mart also...it was $55 but it wasnt a vivitar...I have one of those too and it sucks...but this one is a AIPTEK Pocket DV...it's works as a webcam...digi cam...video cam...and voice recorder....it can storemore than 1000 pics. I wish the quality of the pics was better though...here's a pic from it that my friend took of me at his ramp

Check out the Olympus c-4000 - I use Olympus digital and have taken over 10,000 trouble-free shots for our websites in all conditions w/o one single problem. To find the best price on the web, go to www.mysimon.com
Hope that helps !!

im using the Sony DSC-F717 5.0 MegaPixel. it runs for $999.00 and i love it to death. you can find it at most electronics stores. it can be fully automatic (what a waste for that kind of cash) or fully manual (now thats more like it). if you want a point and shoot...dont pay $999 for it. go get a 2.0 MP for $159. if you want to have a LOT more versatility with your settings...but you arent a PROFESSIONAL like Alex...then i recommend this camera. the Nikon (i dont know the model number) 5 MP one is really nice too. my best friend payed $1200 for that one though. and he admits the Sony is nicer.

photo sample...hmm...lemme go look....
this is a picture i took for another website...its of a piece of body jewelry that grew out of my chest (dont ask)...but its got pretty good detail in it. not showing the FULL potential of a 5MP camera..but its pretty good.
